Well what does that actually mean ? as most insurers want to steer you away from independent repairers as they know we will repair your car properly but yes it may cost just a little bit more but you get the peace of mind that your car is repaired to the highest standard.
An Insurance approved repair centre is a repairer that has agreed with an insurer to repair your vehicle for a price and repair processes dictated by the Insurer and there engineers.
In basic terms as the insurer is paying for the repair they aim to get your vehicles repaired in as cheap a way as possible and this in our opinion means cutting corners, Ie. when a part really should be replaced, they can try to repair it etc and this can leave you with a vehicle that has a substandard repair and ultimately can affect the value of your vehicle.
